Chosen as leader of a " Bren Carriers's " section, arrived, by his military knowledge, his influence for the troop, his courage, his generosity and going sound, to form a section of elite. Left at the head of his section, in mission in the enemy positions, splendidly behaved in spite of the met difficulties and the undergone losses there. On the way back towards the friendly lines, his mission accomplished, was lethally wounded. The example of the purest patriotism will stay for all his companions ".
