Private Marcel FOURNER

2nd Company - 4th Platoon

Born in Courcelles on the 17th of August 1924

Killed in Deauville on the 22nd of August 1944

Buried in Trazegnies

 

On the 22nd August 1944, at the bridge over the Toucques in Saint-Arnoult, private Marcel Fourner, member of the 4th Platoon of the 2nd Company under command of Lieutnant TABARY become victim of enemy fire.

The bridge called “Pont des Belges” situated between Deauville and Trouville. Where homage can be paid to both (Marcel Fourner and Simon Rouche)
