Killed in Deauville on the 22nd of August 1944

It was on the 22nd On August 1944, at the out posts near the destroyed bridge between Deauville and Trouville, that Private (Simon Rouche) of the Scout Section of the 1st Company and private (Marcel Fourner), member of the 4th Platoon of the 2nd Company become victims of enemy fire.

The bridge called “Pont des Belges” situated between Deauville and Trouville. Where homage can be paid to both (Marcel Fourner and Simon Rouche)
